But the reality is, education no longer teaches children to think, it only teaches them to follow rules and guidelines, critical thought has been replaced by Command C & Command V. Debt ridden college degrees are no longer a guarantee to a well paid job, which are few and far between. The interest your money earns in your bank account becomes worthless with inflation. While your saving depreciate, your bank can loan out 10 times what you have deposited, and earn positive interest. The same Bank can also invent new money from thin air, to enable you to mortgage a house. A house that you pay stamp duty on, land tax on, land rates on, bi annual property tax on, and if you manage to make any prophet on the house, capital gains tax too. The pensions you paid into for over 30 years is only paying out 45% of what it promised to, because of some investment brokers bad decisions. Get old, get sick, put into a home, “your” house can now be sold by the state to pay for your substandard retirement care home costs.
