Thousands of protesters brought Belfast city centre traffic to a standstill on Saturday, as a peaceful demonstration against vaccine passports and mandatory vaccinations overflowed onto Donegal Square in front of Belfast City Hall. There was a friendly, warm atmosphere, with plenty of smiles in the crowd of mixed ages. A number of speakers used the PA system to address the crowd. A young lady read a statement from an anonymous Belfast Trust worker, detailing her experiences working during the lockdown. There has been no mention of this protest on the BBC
